The Terry Fox Research Institute’s Digital Health & Discovery Platform (DHDP) has selected CONNECT among 14 pan-Canadian projects funded through its first Digital Health Innovation Fund. The project brings together Omnimed, Optithera and Université de Montréal.
CONNECT will build a secure “diabetes prescriptome” linking Omnimed’s real-world EMR data, Optithera’s polygenic risk scores and validated treatment guidelines. Using privacy-preserving federated learning, a large language model will help clinicians make safer, more personalized diabetes treatment decisions.
